The secondary metabolites from a South China Sea surface fungi Aspergillus versicolor NJF3
NJF3, a fungus derived from the surface seawater of the South China Sea, were investigated in this study. The rice solid fermentation product of this strain was extracted with 95% ethanol and subjected to ethyl acetate extraction, followed by repeated chromatographic separation and purification. As a result, a total of 15 compounds were obtained, and their structures were identified by spectral data analysis as meleagrin (

), respectively. All compounds were known structures, among them diphenyl ether glycosides
