Among them a black-brown granule is moredistinct. Divisions of the nucleus take place until three to five merozoites are produced

and the cytoplasm rapidly disappears.The gametocytes are oval

pearshaped or slightlyelongated;the microgametOcyte possesses a large diffuse nucleus occuping most part ofthe parasite; a star-like nucleus may occasionally be found in the macrogametocytes。They may slightly displace the nucleus of the host cell

and all stages of the parasitesare closely embedded into the nucleus of the erythrocytes.
