The correlation coefficients of pentad precipitation between stations in Guangdong are computed using three methods.The results show the anormal precipitation coefficients are practical.The precipitation correlation over Xijiang and Dongjiang are closer than that over Beijiang.The average climatological correlation coefficients may not be suitbale for forcasting.
