The Separation, Identification and Bioassay of Caulerpin
Caulerpin 1 was isolated from Algae Calogassa leuprieuii
Laurencia majuscula and Hypnea concornis
compound 2 upon hydrolization of compound 1 was obtained as brown crystals. Their structures were confirmed by spectral analysis. Bioassay showed that caulerpin is an effective plant growth regulator.
