Triacetonamine-HCl(TAA) is synthesized artificially based on the molecular structure of the substance isolated from South China Sea Juncella squamata. The electrophysiological effects of TAA on transmembrane potentials of isolated guinea pig papillary and atrial muscles were studied using conventional intracellular microelectrode technique.1.
