Bubble dynamics is concerned with a complicated nonlinear problem.Variousbubble wall motion equations had been proposed to simplify the solving process
inwhich the Rayleigh’s
Trilliang’s
Gilmore’s cquations are typical.The accuracy and ap-plicable extent of the above three equations are analyzed and compared with each otherby theoretical derivation. Results show that these equations are not suitable for thecase of strong nonlinearity at large mach number and Rayleigh’s equation is failed inbubble sound propagation.The new method for identifying the accuracy of bubble wallmotion equations suggested in this paper can be used to analyze other types of bubblewall motion equations.The method for identifying the accuracy in numerical calcula-tions is also proposed.
