Criterion of Minimum Entropy for Optimizing the Hydrologic Frequency Distribution
the criterion of minimum information entropy is prososed as a standard for optimizing the hydrologic frequency distribution in the paper.In view of the demand for calculating the entropy values
we also give the generalized derivation method of the information entropy and the information entropy formula of some useful hydrologic frequencys.Fourteen practical examples are given at last.
