Environmental Risk Assessment in River Quality Management
Three management alternatives are proposed for the purpose of improving the water quality of drinking water supply sources in the Yodo River
Japan. THMP levels at two major intakes are calculated with the Cumulative Discharge Model. Carcinogenic risk of THM in drinking water which forms in the chlorination process of water purification is estimated by employing two different interpolation methods. The risk is evaluated and the effect of alternatives is discussed.
