Three Dimensional Numerical Simulation of Wind Driven Water Current in a Lake
A three-dimensional model of wind driven water current is developed in the paper. The finite difference method of the Arakawa c grid is employed to obtain the numerical silution. The model is used in the simulation of wind driven water current in Moshuihu lake. The real case shows that the computer program of the difference method is simple and the calculated results is rational. The three dimensional model can discribe better the structural characteristic of wind driven water current in a lake.
