Effect of Ultra-Low Moisture Content on Seed Viability of Yam Bean
Yam bean( Pachyrrhizus erosus (L.) Urb.)seeds loses sowing value quickly
their average longevity in open storage is about 11~12 months. ultra-drying before seed storage is as good as storing in low temperature and low moisture. However
too low moisture content hurts the seeds. Water-balance is necessary for dry seeds before germination.
