) were isolated from the ethyl acetate extracts of the solid cultures of marie-derived fungus
Penicillium rolfsii
8196#, isolated from sponge
xestospongia
sp.. Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic analysis and comparative investigation with references. These compounds were evaluated for their cytotoxic, antibacterial and antioxidant activities. Among them, Compound

showed cytotoxicity against human bladder cancer T-24 cells with the IC
50
values of 16.60 μmol/L, compounds

and

exhibited weak inhibitory effects against
Salmonella
with MIC values of 50 μmol/L, and compounds

and
9
showed the free radical scavenging rate 79.81% and 70.84% at the concentration of 10 μmol/L, respectively.
